We are the local association of the Louisiana Association of Educators (LAE) www.lae.org and the National Education Association (NEA) www.nea.org We are proud of our past accomplishments and our ongoing efforts to advance education in Calcasieu Parish Schools. We represent all different types of jobs within the public school setting. We currently make-up over 600 members here in the parish, nearly 20,000 members statewide in the LAE, and a stagering 3.2 Million members of the NEA. It is in the unity of the association where we draw our collective strength to advocate for our members.
